Rose Fair trained at the Joel Hall Dancers & Center in Jazz, Ballet, and Modern. She danced for the Chicago Urban Jazz-based company, the Joel Hall Dancers for seven years before relocating to NYC. Other dance studies include Hyde Park School of Ballet, Luigi Jazz Dance Centre, Academy of Music & Movement, and the Katherine Dunham Technique Seminar in addition to graduating from the Two-Year Certificate and Teacher Training Programs at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance. Rose has performed with Duwane Pendarvis & Company Dance Theatre (Horton-based), Tamboula Ethnic Dance Company (Haitian Folklore), Khalidah Kali’s North African Bellydance Experience, and various freelance projects. She’s also taught Ballet, Modern, and Jazz in numerous schools and studios across Chicago and NYC. |
