NWSOD is a phenomenal school. My son started here four years ago and we have been extremely pleased with the rigor of dance instruction and teacher expertise. I want to share how amazing this dance studio is! We are beginning our 4th year and Alli is so happy! The teachers as well as Ms. Lynda, the owner, have been there to support Alli in every way. What I love so much is that this studio has created a perfect balance between working hard and having fun! Whether your child is outgoing or very shy this is the perfect place!

My daughter has been at the Northern Westchester School of Dance for almost 6 years, and she has grown as a dancer and as a person more each year because of it. The school provides a wonderful, nurturing environment, while at the same time delivering rigorous and creative instruction. My daughter's skills and sense of accomplishment have developed significantly, as has her love of dance. The Northern Westchester School of Dance has my strongest recommendation.

This will be the third year that my two daughters are dancing at NWSOD. We are all very happy! I can see their dance skills improving dramatically. I love the variety of classes and professionalism of the instructors and owner. The end of year recital really reflects how hard they are working during classes. Highly recommend this place.

My son is dancing with NWSOD for his second year. He has learned so much from the school's highly talented teachers. The emphasis on strong technique in each style of dance is helping him grow as a dancer each week. The school is a nurturing environment and has become a second home. NWSOD is a place where each dancer is provided with individualized attention and feels welcomed.

Both my daughters have been students at NWSOD for 4 years and would highly recommend this school. The quality of the dance instruction is by far the best I've come across in Westchester (and we've been to many other schools over the years!). My kids have learned so much from all the highly qualified professionals who are still performing which have been a very noticeable difference. Most importantly, they love attending their classes and enjoy each and every class! They are learning beautiful technique, exercising, and gaining self confidence. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!!!

I have found the NWSOD a very safe haven for my daughter. Over the last number of years it has been her go to space for comraderie & instruction. It is a disciplined environment where the students grow & learn to perform their best through hard work & team participation. The magic thats created at each recital leaves me in awe & happiness, not only watching my daughter but all the boys & girls that I've watched grow so much over the years too.

My daughter Julia has been dancing at NWSOD for 4 plus years. She has absolutely loved Hip-Hop, Jazz and Acro, and is now taking an interest in ballet. She has many school friends who dance at NWSOD, and as well has made new friends both from her school and other schools. I appreciate the teacher's enthusiasm for dance, and also the administrator's tightly run ship. The end of the year shows are a lot of fun for the performers and the results are amazing!

She loves going to dance class and I can definitely say that NWSOD has had a positive effect not only on my daughter’s dance skills, but also on her self esteem and confidence in all aspects of her life!
