Amelia moved away from home at the age of 15 to pursue a career in professional ballet at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She then went on to pursue theater, receiving her B.A. in Performance from Fordham University, Lincoln Center and a then a M.F.A in Acting from the American Repertory Theatre at Harvard University. Amelia's first audition and professional acting job was in the Broadway production of The Man Who Came To Dinner (June Stanley understudy) starring Jean Smart and Nathan Lane. Amelia has been teaching, choreographing and directing for the past 17 years. |
